With the Robotech Hot Melt adhesive applicator, you can bond the second layer of double wall cups using glue without needing PE-coated paper, eliminating the PE coating process for your bristol or kraft papers.
Thanks to the ultrasonic head, you can produce double wall cups even if your machine does not have a hot melt glue system, using PE-coated papers. Our ultrasonic head also allows UV-printed surfaces to bond effectively.

Hot melt glue gives you complete freedom in choosing paper for double-wall production. Instead of PE-coated cup paper, you can use many types of paper such as American Bristol, Kraft, embossed paper, or standard cup paper. Since the bonding process is done with hot melt glue, you no longer need to use special PE-coated cup paper.
To load paper cups into the double-wall machine automatically, you need an automatic cup feeding unit. It is not mandatory; you can feed the machine manually as well. However, for higher efficiency, the optional automatic feeding unit is recommended.
Optional Features
Robatech’s Hot Melt Glue Applicator allows you to glue the second layer of double wall without needing to use PE-coated paper. You can use Bristol or Kraft papers without any PE coating process and still bond the second layer with hot melt adhesive.
According to Robatech, choosing this European-made glue system ensures that you achieve the same quality in double wall cup production without relying on low-quality Chinese hot melt units. Selecting a European or Chinese brand glue applicator is entirely up to our customers.
